About the FreelancingHUB

The DeakinTALENT FreelancingHUB is an exciting and innovative work-integrated learning experience. You will work as part of a team to deliver a real project for a not-for-profit, social enterprise, community or government organisation. Each team is guided by an industry-experienced Project Manager.

Eligibility

We encourage Deakin students across all study areas and campuses (including online) to apply.

The FreelancingHUB is a credit-bearing experience, so all offers will be subject to enrolment into a compatible Work Integrated Learning (WIL) unit.

DeakinTALENT FreelancingHUB

The DeakinTALENT FreelancingHUB offers students a unique work integrated learning experience, offering internships with a multi-disciplinary team developing a solution for not-for-profit, community or government organisation.

Students are able to develop their key employability skills such as teamwork, critical thinking and communication.

Internships are available in all trimesters and to students from all study areas, as long as they have an elective or compatible placement unit to enrol in for credit.

On campus students undertake their work from one of our two contemporary co-working sites, while cloud-based students participate through various online technologies.

We encourage you to apply now for the upcoming trimester or send us through an inquiry to freelancinghub@deakin.edu.au
