CreativeHUB

This internship program offers students the chance to work with a team to deliver a creative project for a not-for-profit, social enterprise, community or government organisation. Students will contribute their unique skillset to the project, while collaborating with students from other disciplines under the guidance of a Project Manager and Academic Mentor. If you’re interested in working on a project with real community impact, the CreativeHUB is a perfect way to tick off a credit point!

This program is run by the DeakinTALENT team, in collaboration with the School of Communication and Creative Arts.

Students from study areas such as film and television, creative writing, media, communication, design and creative arts will be prioritised for the program, but we will also offer limited places to students from other faculties, where they have an interest in a creative project.

Applications are open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from all campuses (including online).

As a CreativeHUB intern you will collaborate with your team in an authentic workplace environment, with supervision and support from your Project Manager and Academic Mentor. Our physical HUB spaces are located at Burwood and Waurn Ponds, with video technology to link to online students.

We operate throughout all three study periods offered at Deakin. Trimesters 1 (March to June), 2 (July to October), and intensive mode during Trimester 3 (November to December).
