Increase Self-Awareness and Formulate a Plan

Career Leader is an online career insights tool which assists you in identifying your values, strengths, motivators, and interests – an important foundation for career development. You will also be invited to the annual ‘My MBA and My Career’ event, focusing on career action planning.

Access Online MBA Career Resources

Our online MBA Career Resource Library contains valuable career related resources that you can access on-demand. Specific to the MBA cohort, resources cover a broad range of topics and are delivered by notable experts in their respective fields including authors, speakers, and executive coaches.

Receive Individual Support

Schedule an individual career appointment at any time as your progress through your MBA. Discuss a range of topics including developing and refining your career goals, personal branding and LinkedIn, job search strategy, resume/cover letter development, interview coaching, considering and negotiating offers.

Attend Webinars and Workshops

Various MBA events are delivered throughout the year including our monthly webinar series, delving into the fundamentals that facilitate career advancement, and suite of career development workshops, providing the opportunity to learn from, and network with a range of industry specialists and Deakin MBA alumni.

Engage in Industry Mentoring

Through Deakin’s partnership with The Australian Institute of Management (AIM), you have access to Member Exchange, AIM’s six month national mentoring program. Apply to be matched with a suitable mentor or mentee in a range of locations, taking into account your industry, experience and goals.
